If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “Blue Passbook". We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “Blue Passbook” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Blue Passbook” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Blue Passbook” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Blue Passbook” nor BluePassbook.com shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
Supplying dishonest, impersonating, or offensive usernames, email addresses, names, or phone numbers may result in account termination without notice or refunds of any kind.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Blue Passbook collects personal information when you register with us. When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, gender, ZIP code, or other information pertinent to the functioning of this website. When you register with Blue Passbook and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
Blue Passbook collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of financial products and services that we offer.
Blue Passbook automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, some cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.
Blue Passbook uses information for the following (but not necessarily limited to) general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, and conduct research.
INFORMATION DELETION POLICY
To delete your personal information and remove it from our database, simply contact us and instruct us to remove your information. You can also use the "delete" link under your BluePassbook.com user account under the Social tab next to your social media profile.
SPAM POLICY
We use spam-deterrent programs to prevent spam postings by bots and known spam accounts. If your username or email address is found in a database of known spammers, your account may be blocked or cancelled. If you feel this has occurred in error, please contact us and we will investigate. Our intent is to efficiently and fairly manage the content on this website for the protection and benefit of our members and the general public.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Blue Passbook does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies. We may use the information, if:
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Blue Passbook's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer information about you if Blue Passbook is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Blue Passbook will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
QR SCANNING
When you scan a Blue Passbook QR Code (QR), your personal information is made available to the location owner of the QR including your name, email address, time of scan, and location of scan. By scanning a QR you agree to be contacted and/or marketed to by the location owner until you opt-out with the location owner.

Why do I have to enter my name and phone number? Can't I just use this app anonymously?
You must enter your name and phone number. You cannot use this app anonymously.
Blue Passbook is a virtual souvenir collection, just like when you go to a restaurant and want to bring a menu home for your scrapbook, or visit a religious institution or club event and bring home the bulletin for your binder or shoebox. Blue Passbook keeps an organized record of the digital reminders of a visit you personally made to a participating business, event, or organization. The personal connection you have to the visit is reciprocated by sharing your information with the host institution or business owner. You always have the option to opt-out of notifications from the business owner, but Blue Passbook feels they should be allowed to responsibly contact you at least one time following your visit.
